
MICHEL SADANOWSKY (FRANCE)
A flamenco guitarist and composer, he gives orchestration seminars and master classes all over the world. He began playing the violin at the age of seven but discovered the guitar a few years later. Today, he shares his musical passion with solo recitals and master classes in between his various professional travels. He was awarded the 1st prize at the prestigious Paris International Guitar Competition organised by Radio-France, competing with 105 guitarists representing 28 countries. Since then he has performed at the biggest festivals from Warsaw to Philadelphia, Stockholm, Seville, Prague, Hamburg, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Athens, Tokyo, Rome, Hong Kong, etc. An accomplished writer and composer dedicated to flamenco, Michel recorded in Istria, the Flamenco Suite "La rayon Vert", and entrusted the manuscript to the Parisian publishing house COMBRE. A first tribute to the music of Georges Brassens followed soon after, entrusting the manuscript also to the Billaudot publishing house in Paris. A talented teacher who often gives seminars on orchestration and masterclasses in Japan, China, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Bulgaria, USA, Spain and France, among others. He headed the guitar department at the Pedro Juan Carrero School in Barcelona, created in 1986, and for 30 years the International Guitar Seminar in Biarritz. In various concerts, Michel Sadanowsky played with many internationally renowned musical artists such as Pierre-Yves Artaud (flautist), Regis Pasquier (violinist), Francoise Knaeps (cantatrice), Rafael Fays (jazz guitarist), Pedro Soler (flamenco guitarist), etc. He has also participated as a jury member of many international music competitions, now he continues his career in Biarritz.
