DEPOL (SPAIN)

Pol Gutiérrez (DePol) was born on January 11, 2002 in Barcelona. He started playing the guitar at just 12 years old almost out of boredom, self-taught with an old guitar he had at home. A couple of years later, also self-taught, he began singing to accompany that old guitar. During these years, he also learned to play the ukulele and the piano. In 2018 he began to compose music and lyrics as a form of expression to overcome his shyness in matters of love. In 2019 he participated in the GotTalent program, in which he managed to reach the semi-final. Currently the young artist is playing on the most important radio stations in our country, becoming N1 on LOS40 with his single IBIZA, and has more than 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He has also achieved success figures with his great hits: 'Quién diría"™ which already exceeds 25 million plays and with which he has achieved double platinum status, "˜Qué bonita"™ which has more than 14 million plays and a gold record, and "˜Ibiza"™, with which he has already accumulated more than 6 million plays on Spotify. 2023 was a very important year for the artist, he was awarded the "Els numeros 1 a Catalunya de CADENA 100" award and during that summer he toured Spain with the LOS40, Cadena Dial and Cadena 100 tours and performing at some of the most important festivals in the country such as Boombastic or the Mediterránea Festival. DePol, with an innate talent, is a breath of fresh air that the music scene so badly needs. Lyrics, music and stories written by himself, full of personality that will make the entire audience connect with him and I was hooked on his songs from the first listen.
