
NEUS FERRI (SPAIN)
Neus Ferri (Alcoy, 1984) has dedicated her entire life to music in various forms. Session singer and chorister, performer in musicals, modern singing teacher, author and composer of 3 solo albums and several singles, vocalist in numerous bands of various styles, Neus covers with her voice from jazz to heavy metal. A student of dance in her childhood, of modern music since she was 15, of Speech Therapy and Musical Teaching at the University of Valencia and above all of modern singing for many years in various schools and private teachers. She became known as a performer at a national level through the program "La Voz" in its first edition in Spain (2012) and of which she was a finalist. Neus then took the reins of her solo career and after publishing her first work "Aquí me tienes" with Warner Music Spain and under the production of José de Castro (Jopi), she was a finalist in the Carles Santos Awards for Valencian Music 2019 with her second studio album "Canciones de amor al odio", released with Maldito Records and produced by Pachi García Alis. She has presented her formations and works on posters such as the Elche Jazz Festival (2013) or Montgorrock (2019) and is one of the Valencian artists with the longest professional career. Neus has always been praised for her vocal versatility by both professionals and the public and has several awards: - 1st Prize for best vocalist nationwide by the magazine *ISP (2011) - Finalist of the talent show 'La Voz' (Telecinco, 2012) - 1st Prize for best song with 'Aguardiente' at the Elche Songwriters Contest (2014) - Special mention from the public at the Elche Songwriters Contest (2014) - 1st Prize for best song with 'Aguardiente' at the Burgos National Contest (2015) - Nomination for best rock album for 'Canciones de amor al odio' at the Carles Santos Awards for Valencian Music (2019) She is currently on tour as a backing vocalist and acoustic guitarist with the artist Melendi while presenting her third solo work 'Llar' (Maldito Records, 2022). A work that has brought her back to her mother tongue, to her roots, and that has had a wonderful reception from the public, critics and the media. Neus plays the Alhambra CSs-3 CW E9 model.
