Coti Sorokin,

known as Coti , is an Argentine singer, musician and composer born on June 14, 1973 in Rosario, province of Santa Fe of the Argentine Republic

At the beginning of his career, he composed songs for great artists such as Alejandro Lerner and Diego Torres and collaborated with Andrés Calamaro on his album "Honestidad Brutal".

After two solo albums, his musical consecration came in 2005 with “Esta Mañana y Otros Cuentos” (This Morning and Other Stories), in which he collaborated with artists such as Ismael Serrano, Paulina Rubio, Julieta Venegas and Josemi Carmona (Ketama). This live album achieved Double Platinum status in Spain .

Winner of the Ondas Award for Best Latin Artist 2005

His song "Nada Fue Un Error " managed to reach the number 1 position in the United States, Latin America and Spain.

Described by Andrés Calamaro as the Latin Bob Dylan , Coti has not stopped reaping success with his subsequent albums.

In the autumn of 2013, he gave the copyright of the well-known song Color Esperanza , composed by him, to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) , to be used in the campaign against breast cancer. The song was re-recorded by some of the best Spanish female voices: Chenoa, Nena Daconte, Rosario Flowers, Luz Casal, Vanesa Martin, Rosana, Susana, from Butterfly Effect and Paula Rojo .
