Recommendations
Thank you for placing your trust in an Alhambra guitar. Below we explain a series of recommendations for the maintenance of your instrument:
Extreme humidity and dryness are dangerous, as is the rapid change from one to the other. Avoid hanging your guitar on a wall facing the outside (as these tend to absorb and transmit moisture) or in an area where pipes pass through. Also, do not expose your guitar to the sun for long periods of time, as it could reach very high temperatures and the guitar would suffer irreparable damage.
When your guitar is to travel by plane, loosen the strings completely.
It is advisable to keep the instrument between 40 and 60% relative humidity . When the humidity is less than 40%, the wood may crack and the string height may drop, which may cause lisping. When the humidity is greater than 70%, peeling, loss of sound and the string height may rise may occur.
