Rick Hannah plays an Alhambra Crossover CS-3CW guitar in his duo "Ten String Swing" Rick Hannah is a musician, composer and arranger born in Philadelphia who began his passion for the guitar at the age of 12. In the 70s he worked in Los Angeles, where he played different styles such as Blues, Rock, Funk and fusion. During this time he made several tours in Europe with Alphonse Mouzon (drums) and Brian Auger (organ), and then joined the group "Billy Mitchell-John Bolivar Group". A formation with which he recorded the album Passion. In 1996 he decided to dedicate himself to conventional jazz. Genres such as swing, bop and blues, with which he returned to the east coast of the United States where, influenced by Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett, he developed the art of the Jazz Guitar Trio. A combination where the guitar replaces the piano in this traditional format. Rick Hannah brought the acoustic guitar into the "Mainstream Jazz" style, a jazz style that developed from the 1950s onwards and regained popularity in the United States in the 1970s. Today it is a style known throughout the world. In France, since 2005, he continued to concentrate on his new Trio, while creating and leading the "Guitar Big Band from Strasbourg" and organizing jazz evenings in a Strasbourg café. Rick is a brilliant solo jazz guitarist, a musician who prefers intimate settings where an atmosphere with greater interaction with the audience is achieved. Rick Hannah plays an Alhambra Crossover model CS-3CW guitar in his duo "Ten String Swing" with the German Ulli Bartel (violin / mandolin). His current performances are mainly concentrated in France and Germany. Discography: –ª From This Moment On –ª Going Forward –ª The Beatles Project –ª Encore Oui Bop –ª Oui Bop –ª Artichaut Nights.
