Radio France Jason Del Campo discovered the guitar by accident at an age when teenagers are encouraged to give up their dreams and become serious adults. It was love at first sight, and nothing could have prepared him for it. He was soon locked away in his bedroom, listening to, imitating and dissecting the records that would never leave him. Born into a family of craftsmen, he began to understand it by repeating the gestures one by one, sketching them, perfecting them... The music is a leap back in time. It is a return to the bedroom of his childhood, where he would re-record CDs on cassette to prepare playlists for family holidays. After his first EP Sage with the London label At-swim and producer Ian Dowling (Grammy-winning engineer), and the soundtrack of the film Atlantic Bar (Cannes Film Festival 2022, Les Césars 2024) - Jason Del Campo presents his first album - Clavel Blanco - a tribute to his grandmother and his Spanish roots. Inspired by "The Tibetan Book of Life and Death" and his research into different cultures and traditions from around the world, this album talks about death and questions our way of life.
